FLT/ Plant Operative (Shift) Ref: sg We are looking to recruit a FLT /plant operative to join a busy manufacturing company. you will be required to operate chemical plant and equipment in a safe and effective manner, as part of a team, to meet production schedules and targets. To support the business operations as required. KEY TASKS The position is for a Chemical Process Operator, working as part of a shift team with a focus on operating both manual and computer controlled batch vessels. Operation of chemical process equipment, manual and computer controlled. Monitor all steps of the production process. Process troubleshooting Ensuring the proper amount of each ingredient is charged the reaction vessel and the correct process conditions are satisfied. Follow detailed written instructions. Use of process computer control system. Take process samples. Record keeping both in written format and on computer. o E.g. quantities charged, product created, process conditions, sample results Tanker offloading. Tanker loading. Drum filling. Use of counterbalance fork lift truck. (Must have 2 years experience Decontamination of process vessels and equipment. Housekeeping duties. Assisting in plant maintenance. Recognised chemical processing qualification (eg city & Guilds 060 (Part 1 in chemical processing operations or NVQ level 1 or 2) Manual Handling Training 4 on 4 off 12 hour shift pattern days and nights, which is an average 42 hour week Contact: Register Now Send CV |
